It’s Opening Day!

Yes it is folks. Get your opinions, stereotypes, and grudges out and dust them off. For today we enter six months of “crack of the bat”, “BEER HERE!”, and “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”

Smith corks one into right, down the line! It may go…Go crazy, folks! Go crazy! It’s a home run! And the Cardinals have won the game, by the score of 3-2, on a home run by The Wizard! Go crazy! – Jack Buck calling Ozzie Smith’s walkoff home run in Game 5 of the 1985 National League Championship Series.

And the best one of all, that we loved hearing from our dearly departed, but never forgotten Jack Buck… “That’s a Winner!‘
