Honors and benefits for Pujols & Ludwick

It was announced today that Alert Pujols and Ryan “Trade me while you can” Ludwick were the only two recipiants form the Redbirds of the annual Silver Slugger Award.

What is the Silver Slugger Award you say?  In a nutshell, it’s the best offensive player at each defensive position.  Or in other words…it’s illrelivant!  

I’ve seen the actual awards while at the Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger Museum and factory tour.  BTW, I highly recommend that tour!  It’s a gaudy thing, but it’s that what awards are about?
